High Profile Cases
Rahman Ravelli routinely deals with large, high profile cases and is experienced in dealing with criminal matters all the way to the House of Lords. We are at the cutting edge of new developments in criminal law. The recent appeal of R v H and C (Click here for Law report) to the House of Lords is a Rahman Ravelli case. This case is now the leading authority on the prosecution’s obligations regarding disclosure to the defence.

The Team
Our criminal law team includes solicitors, accredited police station representatives and individual caseworkers.
We are available 365 days a year, 24 hours a day to provide expert advice and assistance to our clients. Our Quality Mark means that our services are free to those eligible.
In relation to cases of a significant and complex nature, the case is allocated to a legal team all of whom will be accessible to the client providing continuing support and advice throughout the proceedings. A senior lawyer will lead the team.

Contracts with the Complex Crime Unit (VHCC) of the Legal Services Commission.
The Case papers and documentation in cases of significant complexity and seriousness are usually voluminous and Rahman Ravelli have successfully proved time and time again the efficient management of these cases and have been awarded ‘individual case contracts’ from the Complex Crime Unit of the Legal Services Commission (LSC). We currently hold a number of individual contracts with the LSC. The requirements for retaining the contracts are rigorous and there is routine auditing by senior contract managers.
