Rahman Ravelli Founder Praised For “Excellent Leadership’ By UK Legal Guide

22 November 2012

Aziz Rahman, founder of Rahman Ravelli, has been praised for his excellent leadership in this year’s edition of the UK's most authoritative legal guide. The guide also praises the quality of the firm’s staff.

Fifty full-time researchers examined the credentials and work of solicitors before deciding who made it into this year’s edition of the prestigious “Chambers UK Guide’’.

Mr Rahman is included in this year’s Guide as one of the UK’s most notable criminal fraud practitioners. Chambers highlights his leadership skills and his role in some of the company’s major successes; which include some of the largest international fraud and business crime cases.

It says of Rahman Ravelli Solicitors: “This Yorkshire-based firm frequently acts in high-profile fraud cases across the country. The firm and its staff are focused, enthusiastic and professional.

“Recent highlights include acting in a bribery case concerning a 2.2 billion dollar carbon offsetting contract with the Liberian government.’’

Mr Rahman said: "Chambers UK is known as the guide to the best solicitors so to gain such high praise from it is very gratifying.

It is just as pleasing to see the whole firm recommended for its quality work. We have a great team here that always goes the extra mile to ensure the very best for clients so it is fantastic that Chambers has identified this.’’

Last year’s Chambers referred to Rahman Ravelli’s growing market recognition, shrewd tactical approach, the way the firm’s cases are prepared “to an incredibly high standard’’ and our “pursuit of justice and fairness to all’’.

In 2012, The Legal 500 worldwide guide to solicitors commended Rahman Ravelli’s solicitors for being “dependable, committed and effective’’ and described Aziz Rahman as a “strategic thinker’’. In 2011, it described Rahman Ravelli as “An excellent firm specialising in serious fraud and regulatory matters’’ and called Aziz Rahman “first class and highly experienced’’.

Mr Rahman added: “Praise from such authoritative guides is welcome at any time. We feel we deserve recognition for the work we put in on behalf of our clients.

We know that the modern criminal case is not merely decided on eye witness testimony. Admissibility of evidence, prosecution’s disclosure of evidence and in-depth knowledge of how prosecuting agencies function can all be crucial factors. That is why all our criminal lawyers know the very latest legal developments and have experience in defending the most complex and serious cases.

Our repeated success in court and the praise from legal guides has proved time and time again that our lawyers are skilled, efficient managers of cases.’’
