With: Salomé Lemasson 14 June 2022 - 15 June 2022
Salomé Lemasson is to be one of the main speakers at the 18th Annual International Bar Association Anti-Corruption Conference in Paris on June 14-15.
Salomé, the head of Rahman Ravelli’s EU Business Crime and Regulatory Practice Group, will be discussing how ESG (environmental, social and governance) issues are (if at all) considered as grounds for exclusion and debarment in public procurement and Multilateral Development Bank (MDB) projects
Alongside her co-panelists from the EBRD, the Green Climate Fund and the World Bank Group, she will be outlining how multilateral development banks and public authorities have started to include ESG considerations in their investigation practices.
More globally, the conference will be assessing what has happened in global anti-corruption in the past two years. It will examine issues such as the importance of cooperation between anti-corruption enforcement authorities, the prosecution of private corruption, internal investigations in the post-pandemic world, the risks posed by cryptocurrency and non-trial resolutions of foreign bribery cases.
