REGISTRATION CLOSED Angelika Hellweger was a speaker at the Fraud Litigation, Enforcement & Contentious Insolvency – Asset Recovery Middle East conference in Dubai. The event was held at the Conrad Dubai hotel, Dubai, from the 13th to 15th of October. Angelika was part of an expert panel assessing current challenges in fraud and asset recovery and how they can be overcome. Her fellow panellists were Raza Mithani, managing partner at UAE-based Conselis Law; and Ali El Maoula, managing partner at the UAE’s Al Naqbi and Partners. Other issues that were analysed at the conference included best practice in preparing fraud claims, allegations of fraud in arbitration, asset recovery involving sovereigns and state immunity, insolvency processes and cross-border insolvency.
