Syed Rahman was invited to be a speaker at the KC Surgery: Asset Recovery conference.
Syed gave a talk about managing concurrent civil and criminal claims. The in-person event, which was organised by Thought Leaders 4 FIRE, was held in Central London, on November 28.
The conference covered a wide range of issues relating to asset recovery. It included discussion of audit negligence claims, the recent Supreme Court judgement relating to the Quincecare duty, cryptocurrency exchanges, litigation, trusts and aspects of the Insolvency Act 1986.
