Syed Rahman to be guest speaker at global asset recovery summit

Rahman Ravelli’s Syed Rahman has been announced as one of the top-level speakers at the ThoughtLeaders4 Fire “Next Gen of Asset Recovery’’ conference.

Syed will be addressing the summit on asset tracing in relation to cryptocurrency. The event, which is being held in Dublin from February 23 to 25, will examine all aspects of international asset recovery, fraud and insolvency.

Syed’s talk will be a key speech in the summit’s session that takes a close look at cryptocurrency. He will be covering issues such as:

  • Anticipated next hurdles in tracing cryptocurrency
  • Court actions and seizure applications
  • Making direct claims against cryptocurrency exchanges
  • Cryptocurrency mixers and tumblers
  • Current trends in cryptocurrency frauds and the anticipated legal response

He is scheduled to speak on February 25, alongside barrister Sam Goodman from Twenty Essex chambers and Carmel King, director at Grant Thornton.
