REGISTRATION CLOSED Aziz Rahman was a speaker at OffshoreAlert’s Asia-Pacific conference. The event was held at the Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok, Thailand, on March 5th and 6th 2025. Aziz was a speaker on the March 5th panel entitled “They're Coming for Everyone: A Frightening Insight Into Industrial-Scale Transnational Crime’’. It looked at financial crime trends in Southeast Asia and around the world, including pig butchering and other fraud schemes, and the role of cryptocurrency in laundering the proceeds. His fellow panellists were Christopher Parrish, US Secret Service special agent; Erin West, founder of anti-crypto crime organisation Operation Shamrock; Himal Ojha, digital forensics expert at the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime; and Victoria Ting, associate director at Singapore-based Setia Law.
