REGISTRATION CLOSED Aziz Rahman was one of a select group of solicitors, barristers and forensic accountants discussing complex investigations and enforcement issues at the Global Cambridge Forum on Corporate Criminal Liability – International Perspective on Corporate Risk Exposure. The event was held in Provence, France, from October 15 to 17. It saw the invited experts assessing multi-jurisdictional issues, including internal investigations, representation of individuals and cross border considerations, in candid, seminar-style discussions. Aziz was one of the leading speakers on the October 16 panel, “Exploring Risks, Trends, and Policy Divergence’’, that examined the complexities of sanctions in today's geopolitical climate. It explored matters including how international conflicts create risks for business, compliance and mitigation strategies, recent enforcement actions, and the challenges businesses face in navigating conflicting sanctions regimes. Aziz’s fellow panellists were Andrew C. Adams, New York-based partner at Steptoe, and Dara Fernández Perez, sanctions general counsel at Honeywell, London. REGISTRATION CLOSED
