The Serious Fraud Office’s (SFO’s) new guidance for corporates will be attractive to many, according to Aziz Rahman.
Aziz was asked by Law360 for his opinions on the SFO’s newly-published guidance, which says that corporates will be offered a DPA if they self-report and cooperate with the agency.
This, said Aziz, will be a “very enticing carrot’’ for many.
He added: "The SFO may not be rolling out the red carpet for those thinking of self-reporting wrongdoing. But it is certainly letting them know that the door is always open."
