In their piece, which was published by Lexis Nexis, they give an overview of the separate sanctions regimes, with particular focus on the sanctions on Russia. They also analyse the crucial divergences between the regimes and what these mean for both businesses and those providing cross-border legal advice.
They explain that the impact of Brexit, the second Donald Trump administration, as well as political turmoil and uncertainty in the EU, have led to a more fragmented and less coordinated approach on sanctions.
