Fraud victims are being 'badly served' by the Serious Fraud Office (SFO)

Fraud victims are being "badly served" by the Serious Fraud Office (SFO), which only recovered £1.3 million in compensation last year - despite UK fraud losses of £717 million, according to a lobbying group of lawyers.

The lawyers also criticised the SFO for regularly failing to implement any of the restraint orders under which propertybelonging to those suspected of fraud is frozen and confiscated.
