Coronavirus is posing a stern test for all of the business world. But the Serious Fraud Office (SFO) is having to deal with circumstances that are likely to challenge the agency in the months and years after the pandemic.
Rahman Ravelli wrote an article explaining why it believes the situation facing the SFO will be far from straightforward in the post-virus era.
Rahman Ravelli's article states that managing its existing caseload – including those cases that have been in its in-tray for a long time – while responding to new reports of fraud prompted by the coronavirus will present a stern test for the SFO. And this test comes just three years after the agency’s future was under threat.
