REMI Stumpenhusen has just been appointed practice manager at Rahman Ravelli.
She takes on the role at the firm based in Pellon Lane, Halifax, after holding similar posts in legal practices in London.
The 33-year-old was tempted to leave the capital and take up the job offer because of the company's high profile and its success in handling some of the UK's biggest fraud cases
She said: "I wanted the position because it is apparent in the legal world that Rahman Ravelli is a forward-thinking company.
"It is expanding and making consistent progress.
"It has become well known because of its successful track record and is becoming stronger while others seem to be falling by the wayside."
Rahman Ravelli has risen to international prominence in the fields of fraud, serious crime and assets forfeiture.
Much of its caseload is national as well as international and involves dealings with worldwide law enforcement and financial organisations.
Aziz Rahman, senior partner at Rahman Ravelli, said: "The nature of our work and the fact that we are rapidly expanding as a firm made it vitally important that we appointed the right person."
