Reuters asked Aziz Rahman for his opinion on former senior police officer Nick Ephgrave being announced as the next director of the Serious Fraud Office.
Aziz called it a bold choice to appoint the former assistant commissioner at London's Metropolitan Police as Lisa Osofsky’s successor. He also outlined the challenges facing the new director.
Aziz said: "The hope is that Nick Ephgrave can transfer the experience and expertise he has gained from the fast-paced world of the hardened suspects to the more nuanced, lengthy and often more complex challenges he will face in the corporate world.
"His new beat will certainly present a whole new range of challenges."
