Fraud and business crime solicitors Rahman Ravelli have appointed Robert Jappie to their growing London base.
The company, which has offices in the capital and Halifax, has taken on Jappie as it looks to capitalise on the impressive growth of its workload in London and the South East.
Recently the firm appointed the highly experienced Christopher Walton to its specialist fraud team in London.
Rahman Ravelli founder Aziz Rahman said that Jappie’s appointment followed an intensive search for the right person to maintain the firm’s London expansion.
He added: “Robert comes to us with a wide range of experience and a desire to fight and win every case – which is exactly what Rahman Ravelli is about.
“He has an exhaustive knowledge of financial regulation and compliance and a background in serious crime cases.
“At a time when we are expanding in London we want to be sure that every appointment we make is the most appropriate for the continued success of the firm. In appointing Robert, I believe we have taken on someone who will be a great team player who will give our clients the high-calibre representation that they have come to expect.’’
Jappie said that he was attracted to Rahman Ravelli by its impressive rise to prominence - a rise that has been reflected in the rankings it has achieved in the legal guides.
He added: “Everyone wants to work for a company that has a reputation for being dynamic and successful.
“Rahman Ravelli is a firm that has achieved a great deal through hard work and ability and now wants to achieve more. To be part of that is a great opportunity.’’
