Rahman Ravelli’s excellence in financial crime and asset recovery cases is again recognised by Chambers

The Chambers and Partners UK Legal Guide has once more ranked Rahman Ravelli as an elite firm for global financial crime and asset recovery cases.

The 2026 edition of Chambers, which has just been published, names Rahman Ravelli as a Band 1 firm. It is the 12th successive year the firm has been given the highest ranking.

Chambers says: "Rahman Ravelli are easily the best in the business. They're in a class of their own."

It adds: "They're heavily engaged in the financial crime sector and have a very strong reputation. Their ongoing desire to recruit and retain outstanding lawyers means that they have a ready pool of expertise for any and all financial crime matters."

Chambers again emphasises the achievements of Rahman Ravelli’s founder and managing partner, Aziz Rahman, and partners Nicola Sharp and Syed Rahman.

Aziz Rahman is once more named as a Chambers Star Individual for financial crime and is praised for his asset recovery work. Chambers describes him as “one of the most tactically astute solicitors out there’’, “the go-to lawyer with huge experience in these fields’’ and “an outstanding lawyer at the very top of his game."

Nicola Sharp is commended by Chambers for her financial crime and POCA work. Chambers says she is “really good at spotting weaknesses in the other side's case and exploiting them to the client's advantage." It adds: “Clients love her approach to litigation and she is a star in this area."

The firm’s sanctions work also receives recognition from Chambers. It commends Syed Rahman, praising his “very good judgement’’ and saying “Syedur does an excellent job of being responsive and dealing appropriately if there are points that are not right.’’ His financial crime work is also praised.
