SFO drops its bribery investigations into GlaxoSmithKline and Rolls-Royce

The Serious Fraud Office’s (SFO) decision to drop its bribery investigations into GlaxoSmithKline and Rolls-Royce saw Rahman Ravelli’s Aziz Rahman asked for his thoughts by a number of media outlets including Bloomberg Law.

Aziz gave a brief comment that considered whether the SFO’s new Director Lisa Osofsky or its failure to secure convictions in the Tesco accounting scandal were behind the decision – and whether the deferred prosecution agreement process requires fine-tuning. His comment can be read here.
