Aziz Rahman said that the Supreme Court ruling that Denmark can seek to recover the £1.44 billion proceeds of Cum-Ex in the UK is a notable success for the Danish tax authorities.
He explained that the ruling will reassure other countries that are looking to recoup huge amounts of money that they paid out due to Cum-Ex.
Denmark, he said, had shown "dogged persistence" in pursuing its case and the ruling will "reverberate around the world" amid ongoing litigation over the billions paid out over Cum-Ex.
Both Reuters and GIR (subscription required) published his thoughts on the case.
