With the Serious Fraud Office (SFO) announcing that up to 20 cases may be affected by further problems with its disclosure IT system, The Times sought Rahman Ravelli's opinion.
The problem has already led to the SFO dropping its decade-old bribery prosecution against former executives at London Mining.
Rahman Ravelli explained that disclosure has been a long-running problem for the agency.
They said: “Many of the SFO’s darkest days can be attributed to disclosure failings. The fact that the issue is haunting another SFO case - and may yet affect many more - is a stark indicator that the agency is still battling its disclosure demons connected to its legacy document management systems.’’
Rahman Ravelli's opinions on this issue were also sought by Law360 and The Law Society Gazette.
