Transparency International has warned the government it must stop the UK being used as a "safe haven" for money laundering.

The anti-corruption body has also claimed the government must strengthen public access to information to improve its international reputation. Its comments come as it releases its annual Corruptions Perceptions Index; which shows the UK had improved its ranking from 14th to 10th in the global battle on corruption.
